Prisoner

For the first time in the history we are given the chance to experience the feeling of being locked up against our will… all of us at the same time.
We are given the chance to experience for a short time what millions of prisoners experience all around the world. We tempt to forget them but yet they are there, confined behind walls, some forever, some for a while. Some for justice and some unfairly for no reason.
I met those beautiful kids last summer, (see the picture in my instagram post), they are locked up in a jail for minors in Madagascar. Some for relevant reasons others for unfair one. From 12 to 18 years they can go out just once a year.
So if you are stressed today, you are complaining, you are suffocating already of being inside: I’d like to invite you to take just few seconds and think about them, be compassionate, and offer this time as a union with all prisoners around the world.
This is what we call compassion.
A small exercice that could help us put into perspective our condition of being locked up for a while and be grateful for our freedom and the life we have.
I’d like to raise today a thought for those beautiful people who marked my heart: I’d like the world the see their beautiful faces.
If they cannot go out for the moment I hope my post will take them out to the world, and may every person be touched by them, compassionate with them and grateful for whatever is hard in your life today. .
